So many cultural traditions and family stories are rooted in the making and sharing of food. English In Action’s fall classic, the Fiesta de Tamales, is a Roaring Fork Valley tradition that dates back to 2009, when English In Action students and tutors hand-crafted all of the tamales themselves, in small groups gathered in family kitchens throughout our local community.

While the event may have grown over the years, the Fiesta's spirit of meeting friends new and old to break bread is unchanged. Come be part of English In Action's tradition and create a new memory with your family on Saturday, October 25 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at The Orchard in Carbondale.
